I have always been fascinated by the human figure and recognizing this I  try to interpret the essential duality forming a whole in different ways.  I like fragmented forms to portray  aspects of the human condition. My torsos are all shapes and sizes. Lean, supple, heavy or fleshy.  I am not looking for the perfect body but exploring the diversity.  I use a lot of metallic finish glazes due to my exposure to metals when I studied jewelry making.
