Clay & Craft

These pieces explore the beauty of functional forms reimagined as art. Bowls, vases, jugs, and pouches carry the language of use, yet exist primarily as sculptural works, inviting attention to texture, gesture and material. Function informs form but presence and craft take precedence, making each piece both familiar and extraordinary.

Vases

Tall, narrow vessels formed from joined figures, carrying two contrasting faces. As the piece turns, identities shift, playful, expressive, and quietly theatrical.

Turbans

A collection of faces, men wearing turbans and a single woman in a face veil.

Rooted in childhood memories of neighbouring countries, these images now reflect realities that have firmly embedded themselves in our shared society.
